The English test is a 75-question, 45-minute test that consists of five essays, or passages, each followed by a set of multiplechoice test questions. Unlike ACT Math, in English, there will be four options for each question. The relevant portions in the passages will always be numbered, and those numbers will refer to the number of the particular question that relates to those portions. Rhetoric questions generally will ask you a specific question about the best way to rethink, reorganize, or restyle part of the passage. If there aren’t any errors, you will select the choice that reads NO CHANGE. If there is an error or error, you will select the best correction offered from four answer choices.
